John Njoroge brings more than twelve years of hands-on experience in Kenya’s potato industry, covering every stage of the process—from planting and harvesting to distribution and marketing. His extensive background gives him a deep understanding of local markets, pricing trends, and buyer networks across the region.

As KATA Potato Sales Director, John plays a key role in coordinating harvests from KATA farms throughout Kenya. He works directly with farmers and camp operators to organize timely deliveries and to negotiate the best possible market prices. His goal is to ensure that each KATA harvest not only meets quality standards but also generates strong financial returns for the program and its members.

Based in Kenya, John collaborates closely with Co-Sales Director Gideon Kimani (G11) and CTO Dennis Maasai (G09) to streamline sales operations and strengthen KATA’s market position. Together, they form a vital link between the farms and the buyers, ensuring that KATA potatoes—The Fuel of Champions—reach markets efficiently and profitably.
